IL PENALISTA DEL FUTURO: l’era dell’intelligenza artificiale è oggi

Ci si è interrogati come Commissione informatica della Camera Penale Veneziana sulla attualità, anche per i penalisti italiani, del tema “intelligenza artificiale”. Un intervento si svolgerà in inglese, supportato dalle slide, nell’ottica anche di “aprirci” verso un’Europa che anch’essa non è alle porte, ma ormai è casa di tutti noi e come tale va frequentata. La scelta dei relatori è stata attenta: avremo con noi il Presidente del Consiglio dell'Ordine degli Avvocati di Venezia Avv. Tommaso Bortoluzzi, che da penalista interessato a questi temi, unitamente alla Consigliera Segretario del Consiglio Nazionale Forense Avv. Giovanna Ollà, pure penalista, sviscererà aspetti peculiari della materia penale. Il Collega ungherese Peter Homoki fornirà una visione allargata all’Europa e il Prof. Paolo Moro, che da sempre si occupa di informatica giuridica quale docente universitario, toccherà temi a lui confacenti quali la metodologia e l’etica. In apertura ci si attende un contributo importante dai Colleghi Avv. Renato Alberini e Avv. Giorgio Battaglini, rispettivamente Presidente della Camera Penale Veneziana e Vice-Presidente del nostro Consiglio dell'Ordine degli Avvocati di Venezia, i quali, da diversi punti di vista, introdurranno i temi. Il coinvolgimento della sala, infine, sarà momento conclusivo importante, perché ci si aspetta di terminare con più domande che risposte, ma soprattutto di aver creato per tutti spunti di riflessione, che stimoleranno ciascuno nell’attività forense quotidiana

As IT Commission of the Venetian Criminal Chamber we focused about the relevance of the topic of "artificial intelligence" for Italian criminal lawyers. European developments and the increasingly widespread sensitivity to the issue have led to answers not only of current events, but also of the need to speed up discussions, raise awareness among Colleagues, push towards computer literacy of the average legal user, making them aware of the risks in the use of these tools, but also of the wide opportunities that they reserve us. A speech will take place in English, supported by slides, with a goal forward to "opening up" on a professional level to Europe, that is not at the gates, but is now home to all of us and as such must be attended. The choice of speakers was careful: we are going to have with us the President of the Council of the Venice Bar Association, Mr. Tommaso Bortoluzzi, who, as a criminal lawyer interested in these issues, together with the Councilor Secretary Mrs. Giovanna Ollà, also a criminal lawyer, will dissect peculiar aspects of criminal matters. The Hungarian Colleague Mr. Peter Homoki, an expert recognized at European level, will provide a broader vision of Europe and Prof. Paolo Moro, who has always been involved in legal informatics as a university professor, will touch on topics suitable for him such as methodology and ethics. At the opening, an important contribution is expected from our Colleagues Mr. Renato Alberini and Mr. Giorgio Battaglini, respectively President of the Venetian Criminal Chamber and Vice-President of our Council of the Venice Bar Association, who, from different points of view, will introduce the topics. Finally, the involvement of the room will be an important final moment, because we expect to end with more questions than answers, but above all to have created food for thought for everyone, which will stimulate everyone in their daily forensic activity.

Thanks to my friends and colleagues of the IT Commission, because the work of the team was decisive in developing an event that appears to be truly full of expectations.
